Pros & Cons

  • For accuracy in inventory management, Adobe Commerce is the most efficient and reliable solution. I am impressed by the amazing capabilities of Adobe Commerce.
  • This is the best open-source e-commerce platform that allows you to add beautiful and stunning themes for your website, So you can build a beautiful e-commerce website.
  • I liked that it was free to download, you cannot argue that price. I had heard from a colleague that they loved the platform and the community, so I figured it was worth a try.
  • Great advantage of Magenta is it being self-hosted service, meaning you have full control over your store and it fully belongs to you. You can not have this flexibility with Shopify and if they do.
  • It is a frequently used platform and always vulnerable to attacks. As a result, both in-house and outsourced IT teams must perform regular security updates.
  • This was very stressful, and was the reason for which my team dumped it. Expensive themes: Magento is not as widely used as some other ecommerce CMSs.
  • Awkward and lacking search features in back end. Reporting functions are difficult to use.
  • If your admin set you up incorrectly, you may be limited in your actions. Older versions are a little more confusing.
