AppCheck by JSecurity is a specialized anti-ransomware solution designed to provide proactive, real-time protection against both known and unknown ransomware threats, making it a valuable addition to endpoint defense strategies for Windows-based systems. Unlike traditional antivirus programs that rely heavily on signature databases, AppCheck utilizes behavioral analysis through a proprietary “situation awareness” engine that detects suspicious file activities, such as mass encryption, rapid file modifications, or abnormal deletion patterns.
