Farmcrowdy is Nigeria’s first digital agriculture platform, designed to bridge the gap between smallholder farmers and profitable market opportunities while promoting food security. With a focus on leveraging technology to optimize farming practices, Farmcrowdy enables farmers to make data-driven decisions, access high-quality seeds and inputs, and monitor their yields effectively. The platform also provides GPS and weather tracking, yield projection, and profitability optimization tools, allowing farmers to maximize output and revenue while minimizing risks. In addition to supporting farmers directly, Farmcrowdy has developed two strategic business units—FC Shops and FC Foods. FC Shops functions as a tech-enabled B2B retail platform, helping small retailers source FMCG goods efficiently at wholesale prices, strengthening the informal retail distribution system. FC Foods operates as a digital marketplace for raw agro-products, inputs, and commodities, enabling consumers to access fresh food and groceries conveniently, while also offering hygienic livestock through a licensed abattoir. Farmcrowdy’s technology-first approach ensures that farmers not only gain access to essential inputs but also benefit from data-driven insights that optimize production and pricing decisions.
