HealthSherpa is a cloud-based ACA health insurance quoting and enrollment platform designed primarily for insurance agents, brokers, and agencies. Developed by Geozoning, Inc., the software integrates directly with the federal Health Insurance Marketplace through Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) technology, allowing agents to complete the entire enrollment process without leaving the platform. This integration streamlines quoting, application submission, and status tracking for Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans. The platform focuses on efficiency and productivity for agents managing multiple clients. Users can generate accurate quotes with subsidy estimates, compare plans from carriers available in their region, and search provider networks and prescriptions before enrollment. HealthSherpa also allows agents to track applications, manage leads, and handle post-enrollment tasks such as document uploads, plan changes, and binder payments. Another notable capability is the branded client-facing enrollment site that allows consumers to self-enroll while still assigning the agent as the Agent of Record (AOR).
