Silvaco Radiant is a dedicated graphical user interface module designed to simplify the physical simulation of optoelectronic thin-film devices, such as OLEDs, inorganic LEDs, quantum dot displays (QD-LEDs), and organic photovoltaics.
Silvaco Radiant is a dedicated graphical user interface module designed to simplify the physical simulation of optoelectronic thin-film devices, such as OLEDs, inorganic LEDs, quantum dot displays (QD-LEDs), and organic photovoltaics. Historically, performing advanced TCAD device simulation required researchers to hand-code complex command decks. Radiant eliminates this barrier by translating a visual, parameter-driven GUI directly into executable Silvaco Atlas input decks behind the scenes. What sets Radiant apart is its specialized physics engine support for organic materials, exciton dynamics, Poole-Frenkel field mobility, and quantum dot sizing. By pairing guided parameter entry with instant TonyPlot visualization, Radiant enables display R&D teams and device physicists to model complex layer stacks, analyze recombination efficiency, and accelerate device prototyping without getting bogged down in low-level programming syntax.
Understand and depict physical processes in a device to make reliable predictions for next-generation devices.
Useful for analyzing novel device structures to improve reliability and scalability.
Provides a graphical user interface for designing and simulating optoelectronic devices.
Specifically designed for thin-film devices such as Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED).
Direct output piping into TonyPlot for visual rendering of carrier density, electric field, and optical output coupling.
Configured to handle complex layer architectures, including QD-LEDs, hyLEDs, and inverted diode layouts.
Built-in models for Poole-Frenkel field-dependent mobility, Langevin bimolecular recombination, and singlet/triplet exciton decay rates.
Automatically compiles visual GUI selections into valid Silvaco Atlas input syntax and executes the underlying solver.
Allows researchers to configure thin-film layer parameters, contact properties, and light sources without writing low-level code scripts.
