LoMIS Suite

LoMIS Suite is a specialized digital logistics management system developed by eHealth Africa to improve the distribution and tracking of essential medical supplies, particularly in low-resource and hard-to-reach environments. Its biggest strength lies in how it replaces slow, paper-based reporting systems with real-time, mobile-driven data collection, allowing healthcare workers to report stock levels, deliveries, and equipment status instantly from the field. This shift significantly improves visibility across the supply chain, enabling supervisors and decision-makers to monitor stock availability and respond quickly to shortages. The platform is built around two main components, LoMIS Stock and LoMIS Deliver, which work together to manage inventory and logistics. Health workers use mobile apps, even in offline or low-connectivity areas, to submit reports on stock levels, usage, and wastage, while logistics teams can plan, schedule, and track deliveries in near real time through a centralized dashboard. This integration ensures that medical commodities such as vaccines and essential drugs are consistently available at health facilities, reducing stock-outs and improving service delivery.
