Mainstay Professional is a property management system built for hotels, guest houses, and similar hospitality businesses, particularly small to medium sized properties. It serves as an end to end PMS that supports core front desk tasks such as handling enquiries, managing reservations, processing billing and invoicing, and maintaining a sales ledger, so essential daily operations are handled in one place. The reservation module uses a colour coded room chart and calendar style view, making it easy to check availability, manage both group and individual bookings, and adjust reservations when needed. It also supports conference and function bookings, which is useful for properties that host events. The system includes marketing tools that allow teams to build mailing lists and run promotions, alongside financial reporting features that provide daily revenue figures and performance summaries. Optional interfaces can extend functionality to connect with accounting systems, point of sale terminals, call costing tools, and online booking channels, helping properties keep availability synchronized and accept direct bookings through their own websites.
