Tencap Tennis

Tencap Tennis is a web-based tennis community and competition management platform designed to help players connect, organise matches and participate in leagues, ladders, tournaments and other tennis events. Its primary purpose is to support recreational and competitive tennis through player networking, activity management and a performance-based rating system. Key features include player profiles, registration, personal dashboards, activity and event management, tennis networks, friend connections, messaging, player statistics, leaderboards and event calendars. Its rating algorithm considers match scores, wins and losses, opponent and partner rating confidence, doubles-team averages and competition level. Unlike systems that reward wins alone, Tencap adjusts ratings according to whether players perform better or worse than predicted, helping reflect actual playing performance. Ratings become more reliable as players complete matches against a wider range of opponents. The interface uses a traditional website layout with dedicated sections for activities, networks, statistics, friends and inbox messages. Players can view singles and doubles leaderboards, while organisers can use the platform to coordinate tennis activities and competitions.
