PHA-Pro from Sphera is a specialist process-safety application designed to plan, run and document Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and related studies. Its primary purpose is to help owners, operators and safety teams perform structured hazard identification — HAZOP, What-If, Checklist and LOPA-style reviews — capture findings, score risks and track corrective actions to closure. PHA-Pro focuses on consistency, auditability and regulatory defensibility: it centralizes study worksheets, recommendation registers, and historical study archives so organisations can demonstrate due diligence across their process assets. The user interface is functional and facilitation-centric. PHA-Pro presents study workspaces as structured worksheets rather than free-form documents, with fields for deviation, cause, consequence, safeguards, risk ranking and recommendations. Facilitator-oriented views let you step …through nodes, record moderator notes and quickly generate consistent worksheets. The UI is intentionally utilitarian — it favours structured data entry and facilitator control over consumer polish — which speeds workshops but does require some facilitator training to master navigation, templates and report generation.
