On the positive side, many users report that Eyefinity has significantly sped up charting, especially with its iPad app and exam protocol tools, which help streamline routine exams. The protocols, smart fields, well‑designed templates, linking with optical labs/pharmacies, and integration with billing and patient eligibility (e.g. VSP) are frequently praised as time‑savers. Practices like that it reduces IT overhead, being cloud‑based, and that staff training tends to be shorter once users acclimate. Ease of documenting exam findings, importing images, and carrying forward findings also get positive feedback. Users also like that updates come fairly regularly and that many features are designed with optometrists’ everyday needs in mind. However, Eyefinity also has consistent criticisms.
