MegaTouch POS

MegaTouch POS is an optional add-on to Portfolio HMS designed to manage point-of-sale operations across hospitality food-and-beverage and retail environments. It supports restaurants, lounges, bars, snack shops, room service, banquets, gift shops, camp stores, marina stores, and pro shops. The system operates using non-proprietary Windows-based POS equipment, allowing businesses to use compatible hardware they purchase themselves rather than requiring proprietary equipment from the vendor. Because MegaTouch POS shares Portfolio HMS programs, database structures, and server infrastructure, organizations do not need a separate server for the POS application. The system also includes comprehensive inventory management capabilities for monitoring both food and retail products. Businesses can use Actual and Perpetual Inventory tracking, establish reorder points, perform cycle counts, and access inventory-related reporting. Workstations can be configured according to outlet requirements, meaning one workstation can support different sales activities. For example, a front-desk computer can also process gift-shop transactions. Its target environments include hotels and resorts, conference and retreat centers, RV and tent campgrounds, and state and national parks.
